We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join our Operations department in our Market Road, London, Head Office on a permanent, full-time basis.
The successful Logistics Coordinator will be as part of the internal Logistics function to organise, manage and monitor the movement
of goods from production at origin, through the Global Distribution Centers to the end customer.
Liasing with external suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders to ensure efficient supply to all channels.
Main duties and responsibilities
Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in similar role within fashion retail (highly desirable) :
Liaise with Global 3PL partners regarding the day to day Logistics operations and requirements
Liaise with freight forwarding partners to book, monitor and facilitate the delivery of inbound shipments
Monitor and facilitate accurate and timely receipt of inbound goods into the Global 3PL Facilities
Monitor and facilitate accurate and timely dispatch of outbound goods from the Global 3PL Facilities to ECOM customers, Retail stores and Wholesale partners
Maintain internal ERP systems and external partner Warehouse Management systems to ensure accurate and timely receipt and dispatch of goods
Assess appropriate transport methods/partners (freight forwarders, Couriers) for all movements of goods to maximise cost efficiency whilst meeting business requirements
Monitor and maintain internal reporting of 3PL and carrier performance
Work collaboratively with internal departments (Production, Technical, Merchandising, Retail, ECOM and Wholesale) to ensure all business requirements are met in a cost effective manner
Review and produce import and export documentation to ensure customs compliance where necessary
Monitor and maintain system inventory transactions to ensure accurate inventory levels.
