Logistics CoordinatorCantello Tayler Recruitment are recruiting for a Logistics Coordinator to join their client based in Guildford for a 9-month contract to cover maternity leave.Logistics Coordinator duties and responsibilities:Coordinate the sending of kits and collection of samples globallyPrepare paperwork including shipping documentation, commercial invoices, and import / export documentation.Ensure all permits and licences are in place for the shipments arranged in collaboration with the Logistics ManagerUploading of data to our ERP systemBook all shipments using the most cost and time effective method at the timeWork with the operations and logistics team in all aspects of the business operations which may include supply chain, purchasing, goods in and goods outMonitor and advise on packaging and shipping requirementsMonitoring and actioning tasks through email and task plannersMonitor the customer support desk for incoming logistics requestsCommunicate effectively with the Sales and Client Services team on progressSupport customers to ensure precise and timely shipping arrangements to shipments and collectionsPreparing data and reports for management meetingsWork closely with the Head of Operations to ensure KPIs on delivery and collection are achievedParticipate in weekly internal team meetings and wider company meetings as requiredLogistics Coordinator required skills and experience:Minimum HND / BTEC in a business subjectA detailed knowledge of import / export processes, customs processes and raising clearance documentationProven track record in a logistics role with customer facing experienceWorking experience with MS OfficeAbility to prioritise, multi-task and work to deadlinesOrganised & meticulousAble to work independently and as part of a teamStrong written and spoken communication skillsExcellent organisational and time management skillsAbility to work on own initiativeA natural ability to multi-task and problem solveA consummate communicator, both written and verbal, you are able to work effectively both independently and as part of a teamAn outstanding team player who is able to work effectively even when things get busy and remain calm under pressureVery organised with excellent attention to detail.If this Logistics Coordinator role is of interest to you, please click apply now or contact Marie Spratley in our Egham office.
