These include:Time to recharge your batteries with 270 hours of annual leave (plus every other Friday off work)Opportunities for Professional Career Development that include funding for the annual membership of a relevant professional body, access to mentors and trainingEmployee Assistance Programme and Occupational Health ServicesA generous defined contribution Group Personal Pension (we will pay between 9% and 13% of your pensionable pay depending on your own contribution)Life AssuranceDiscounts - access to savings on a wide range of everyday spendingSpecial Leave Policy including paid time off for volunteering, public service (including reserve forces) and caring for your familyA host of voluntary & core benefits to suit your health and wellbeing - more information available on our careers siteKey Accountabilities:• Deliver a strategic business readiness plan for the Non-Nuclear Material Operations Group based on an understanding of AWE programmes and projects, to include people, tools and process.• Working across multiple projects and programmes, and with a wide variety of stakeholders across the business to deliver the Non-Nuclear Material Operations Group readiness strategy.• Drive change in culture and behaviours by the definition, continuous application and maturation of operational excellence and to continuously improve material management and performance.• Managing expectation of all programmes and projects which require the support of the Non-Nuclear Material Operations Group.• Work with Operational Delivery Teams and Technology Centre Senior Logistics Managers on all transition activities.• Maintain and promote high personal standards in environment, safety, health, security and quality and be a great team player.Key Responsibilities:Responsible for scoping, planning and scheduling Non-Nuclear Material Group readiness activities.
• Understanding stakeholder groups and driving stakeholder engagement and management to support project and programme delivery.
• Ensure themes of AWE material management transformation programme are incorporated into day-to-day TC operations.
• Working closely with project and programme teams to deliver material control and collaborating with all business areas to ensure a joined up experience for end users.
• Supporting on the resolution of readiness and adoption related risks and issues.
• Responsible for the management of group training and SQEP compliance.
