Logistics Assistant - Immediate Start

OA are currently working with a well established, leading organisation within the retail equipment supply industry and are currently looking to recruit an experienced Stock and Logistics Assistant, based in St Albans with an immediate start!Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00am - 17:30pm (37.5 hour week)Immediate start, Temporary to Permanent opportunityFree on-site parkingFriendly and supportive working environmentCommunicate with carriers / suppliers to guarantee all import shipments are on track and delivered on timeRun weekly stock reports and stock orders locally in UK and internationallyLiaise with the warehouse staffIdentify and resolve any inventory discrepanciesRaising and receipting of purchase orders in the systemPlanning and arranging all new orders to be shippedPreparing packing lists and labels for all deliveriesLogistics Assistant- Skills and Experience:Previous experience within a stock / logistics roleStrong communication skills; written and verbalAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detailAbility to form and maintain good relationshipsIf you are interested in this position, please apply online with your CV.Established in 1995, Osborne Appointments is an independently owned recruitment agency specialising in the supply of temporary, contract and permanent placements.
