Purpose of Role
Working within the Logistics Operations department, you will report to the Logistics Operations Team Leader. The responsibilities of your role will include being the link between Production and Logistics Operations, ensuring parts are correct and present in their allocated location. Communicating with the warehouse teams to ensure we are proactively
working closely with
Stores functions, Quality and Production to ensure material requirements for all model builds are satisfied in a timely and accurate manner.
Principal Accountabilities
Be responsible for the Health and Safety of yourself and others, ensuring all incidents and near misses are reported to your H&S Representative
Participating in all Policy Deployment and adherence of these policies
Review and improve the operating environment through establishing and maintaining housekeeping standards
Follow Standard Operating Procedures and to actively pursue the elimination of waste through the application of continuous improvement tools and techniques
Closely liaising with other disciplines within the Logistics organisation, as well as other departments, such as Quality, Engineering and Production to ensure continued running of all Production lines, to respond to any queries regarding lineside shortages and potential line stops
To be responsible for relevant KPI`s within your area of responsibility
May be required to use Material Handling Equipment following relevant training and Health Checks
Weekly rotating shift patterns of 05:30am - 13:45pm and 15:00pm - 23:15pm applies
To undertake any other work as directed by your Line Manager in connection within your job as may be requested
Support your Line Manager with task allocation and motivating a small team of individuals, ensuring they are continuously aware of production requirements.
Minimising warehouse stock outs through the management of a clear deck policy and accurate transacting of product in order to support our Inventory Control Team in achieving our Inventory Accuracy targets
Use the provided KPI tools and reports to ensure we have a clear ‘Good to run’ status.
Attend key stakeholder meetings and follow escalation process to raise the alarm on any potential risks to production or KPI targets
Demonstrate a high level of control and be the point of contact for any queries relating to your area of responsibility/zone
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Warehousing or Manufacturing experience would be advantageous
Knowledge of SAP or similar Warehouse Management systems preferable
