Locum Social Worker - Children Disabilities

South Wales based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join their Children With Disabilities Team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a stable authority that had a good rating from their most recent rating from the Welsh Care council so you know you will be working for a well rated authority.

This team completes a range of assessments, conducts section 47 enquiries and establishes whether longer term plans are needed for families where children have severe to profound disabilities or health needs. They are involved in all aspects of work, including planning and review for children receiving care and support as well as those with a child protection plan, or until court proceedings conclude. Work in this team is about helping people work out what matters to them and then helping them achieve their goals.

On Offer:

• Hybrid working - 2 to 3 days in the office
• Long contract
• Senior Social Work post available

To be considered for this post you should have held a post as an Children's Social Worker. Driving is not essential to the role although will be beneficial.
