Locum Consultant Psychiatrist - Putney and Roehamption CMHT We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated General Adult Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Putney and Roehampton Integrated Recovery Hub (P& R IRH) based at Queen Marys Hospital, London SW15. The role is being offered as 6PAs on an 12 months fixed term basis.The P& R IRH provides care for working age adults who live in the Wandsworth and experience severe or enduring mental illness. The IRH is one of four within the borough, with care provided according to GP/PCN alignment. The post sits within a well-established MDT including another full time consultant as well as this post. It works closely with a separate Consultant-led Assessment team and interfaces with a consultant-led Home Treatment Team and in-patient wards. There are also specialist teams for Early Intervention in Psychosis, and Personality Disorder.Main duties of the jobThe post-holder will work alongside a full time consultant and will be clinically responsible for providing high quality clinical leadership and psychiatric care to patients under the care of the team, lead on the training of core and higher psychiatry trainees in the team, and contribute to the teaching of St George's University of London Medical Students. The postholder will work closely with a Team manager, a borough based advanced clinical practitioner and a dedicated Clinical Service Manager for the Borough.
