We are now looking for a Locksmith / UPVC / Composite Engineer to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis.

The Role

As a Locksmith / UPVC / Composite Engineer, you will join our day to day responsive repairs team and provide repairs in residents’ homes and void properties across Hertfordshire.

Specifically, you will undertake a range of repair and remedial work, diagnosing issues and identifying solutions, replace existing windows and doors with UPVC and repair and rehang garage doors.

You will carry out carpentry repairs, gain entry to properties, renew locks, and board-up doors and windows.

As part of your role, you will be required to occasionally assist in emergency call outs resulting from bad weather, vandalism or fire.

This role will involve climbing ladders, working height and in confined spaces, as well as lifting heavy objects tools and materials.

About You

To be considered as a Locksmith / UPVC / Composite Engineer, you will need:

- Certified advanced locksmith accreditations
- Experience working with UPVC and composite doors and windows and associated locks and mechanisms
- Good communication skills

You will also be required to have an enhanced criminal record (DBS) check, which we will pay for.
