Job DescriptionJob Title: Linux System EngineerLocation: London (Hybrid working pattern)I'm recruiting a Linux System Engineer with expertise in Ansible, Python scripting, and Linux systems administration. You'll have the chance to join an innovative FX trading leader who is looking to expand their London infrastructure team. Their cutting-edge software is pushing the boundaries of what's possible in financial technology, we are revolutionizing the way foreign exchange trading is conducted.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain Linux-based systems in a bare metal and VM-based trading environment.Utilise Ansible and Python scripting to automate tasks, create Ansible jobs, and streamline complex trading environment processes.Deploy and manage web servers, applications, and file systems to support trading operations.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of infrastructure components.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Linux systems and trading infrastructure.Implement security best practices to safeguard trading systems and data.Skills Required: Strong proficiency in Linux systems administration, with a focus on building and setting up systems for reliability and performance.Ansible and Python scripting, demonstrating the ability to create and automate complex tasks in a trading environment.Understanding of infrastructure components such as web servers, databases, and networking services.Previous experience working in a bare metal and VM-based environmentSalary: Up to £110k depending on experience + benefits and bonusInterview process: One stage If interested apply to be considered as interviews are commencing from the 18th of March.
