Linux Engineer (SRE)

You're a very specific type of Engineer, not someone to just go in and play with a few DevOps tools, but someone who can go into a top organisation and shape a project from day one, a real self starter who turns up to get things done! A number of projects must be carried out, with you in the team spearheading most of them. You will aid in the migration from VMWare to OpenstackBuild an AWS like service for internal use within the companyIdeally you will have worked with MaaS (either Ironic or Juju) or experience of bare metal provisioning and providing this as an API for other teams to consumeHave working knowledge of DockerFurther to this, good coding skills are required, ideally in Python our GoLang The organisation build and run trading platforms for large-scale organisations and are made up mostly of Engineers - meaning the organisation prioritises technology over all else. Ideally you will have worked with: OpenstackAWSMaaS (Ironic / Juju)DockerAnsible / PuppetJenkinsThis is a great opportunity to come in and make a real difference to a major organisation.Infrastructure/Network Security Architect (Swiss Army Knife)Your varied and extensive experience is required to join a tech-for-good organisation.Your .NET Core experience is required to join a company making a real world difference across the globe.
