We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated�Line Leader / Packing Line Supervisor�to oversee packing operations for fresh produce. The Packing Line Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team to efficiently and accurately pack fresh produce according to customer specifications and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in packing line operations, exceptional leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering top-quality products.

Responsibilities

• Supervise packing line operations to ensure efficient and timely packing of fresh produce.


• Train, mentor, and motivate packing line staff to maintain high productivity and quality standards.


• Monitor and enforce compliance with food safety regulations, company policies, and procedures.


• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and cleanliness.


• Coordinate with other departments to schedule packing activities and meet production goals.


• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize packing processes and minimize waste.


• Maintain accurate records of production output, quality control checks, and inventory levels.


• Address any issues or concerns related to packing line operations promptly and effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within the fresh produce or food processing industry.


• Strong knowledge of packing line operations and best practices for handling fresh produce.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to effectively manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.


• Familiarity with food safety regulations and quality assurance standards.


• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.


• Flexibility to work occasional weekends, and holidays as needed.
