We have an exciting opportunity for you to join us as a Lifting Equipment Manager at Hinkley Point C.
As a Lifting Equipment Manager, you will provide the Mechanical, Electrical, Heating and Ventilation Alliance (MEHA) support with managing the receipt, issue and storage of lifting equipment's. You will ensure that your teams are put to work correctly, and daily tasks are clearly communicated to comply with safety and quality.



You will play a key role in the stores department ensuring that correct lifting equipment is available, and teams are following correct health, safety, environmental and quality protocols. You will be supporting the Stores Manager to ensure KPI's are maintained, safe system of work, DABs and day notes are delivered.�



Supported by the MEHA Lifting Lead and their team you will provide overarching lifting stores management for lifting equipment's and accessories utilised for the MEH Alliance construction activities.

Essential Skills and Qualifications




  • Previous Supervisory Experience

  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)

  • CITB certificate (Managers and Professional standards)�

  • Excellent IT/ MS office skills�

  • Being able to deliver essential training and mentor staff�

  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills.�

  • Ability to build and develop a team.

  • Able to deal calmly and confidently with all demands from construction and Client.�

  • Demonstrable commitment to continuous improvement.�

  • Experience in reporting Observations and Near misses

  • CSCS Card Manager Level (Black)�

  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent

  • Level 6 NVQ Diploma in Construction Site Management (or working towards)
