The Lift and Inspection Technician role comes with a starting salary of �34,000 plus bonus scheme and pension scheme including salary sacrifice.

Responsibilities and duties
As a Lift and Stat Inspection Technician you will:
  • Perform regular statutory inspections and maintenance on wind turbine service lifts.
  • Conduct statutory inspections on lifting equipment, including accessories, ladders, personal anchor points, and fall arrest systems.
  • Ensure the safety and compliance of all inspected items with relevant standards.
  • Execute lift work in adherence to manufacturer specifications.
  • Complete comprehensive reports and documentation in a timely and high-quality manner.
  • Report any identified defects promptly to the Lift Team Coordinator, local site technicians, and management.
  • Communicate progress issues to the Lift Team Coordinator at the earliest opportunity.
  • Adhere to all windfarm requirements, prioritising health and safety protocols.
  • Perform electrical isolations when necessary to facilitate safe lift work.
  • Draft risk assessments, method statements, and work instructions for lift-related activities.
  • Provide technical support related to service lifts and statutory inspections.
  • Respond to and address Service Now tickets associated with service lifts and statutory inspections.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
  • HNC, NVQ, Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical training/education.
  • Working experience with Hailo and Zarges Lifts would be an advantage.
  • Basic HSE knowledge and ability to develop skill set in this area.
  • Computer literate, using MS office.
  • Must hold valid driving license.

  • Adaptable to working collaboratively within a team or autonomously.
  • Willingness to work away during the week, with occasional weekend travel.
  • Open to overtime work, even at short notice.
Salary and benefits of the Lift and Stat Technician role
  • �34,000 starting salary.
  • Mon-Fri working week - travel to UK, Ireland and Europe.
  • 33 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays
  • Pension Scheme, Cycle Scheme, EAP Scheme
  • 5% company bonus
