Licensed Fashion Designer Overview
An exciting opportunity has come up for a Licensed Fashion Designer to join a highly successful company.
The Licensed Fashion Designer will work alongside the sales and design team to produce commercial, on-trend ranges of licensed apparel across Ladieswear, Childrenswear and Accessories.
Licensed Fashion Designer Responsibilities;
Work to customer briefs, attend customer meetings and work closely with the customers design and buying teams
Regularly liaise with licensors
Carry out trend and market research, which will include attending comp shopping trips, inspiration shopping trips and trade shows
Sourcing fabrics and trims
Work with factories overseas and create detailed tech packs to be sent across to factories
Additional Information
The Licensed Fashion Designer must have some previous experience in a design role, with strong CAD skills and a good knowledge of fabrics and trims.
Licensing experience would be ideal but not necessary.
