Leveraged Finance Associate

A global law firm is seeking a top quality Leveraged Finance lawyer to join its premium team in the London office. The firm is extremely well regarded for its global banking and finance expertise, although the London office is not purely finance focused like some other US firms in London.Sitting within such a reputable firm, the team brings in an impressive quality of work. In particular, the Leveraged Finance team represents a range of high profile financial advisors, sponsors, equity investors, lenders, borrowers, issuers and agents in each layer of the capital structure. The Leveraged Finance team works in close collaboration with the firm’s leading lawyers in the tax, restructuring and corporate practices.The ideal candidate for this role will be moving from a similar premium City or US firm and will be England and Wales qualified. The candidate should be between NQ to 2 years’ PQE with excellent technical and interpersonal skills. In particular, you will need to have experience of leveraged finance work, private equity backed buyouts, public bids, corporate M&A, private credit and other general banking and finance experience. As well as this specific knowledge, a firm of this quality requires candidates to have very strong academic backgrounds.
