Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the teaching and learning of Key Stage 2 pupils, contributing to their academic progress and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons tailored to the needs of Key Stage 2 pupils.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to children who require additional assistance with their learning.
- Help to create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment conducive to academic achievement and personal growth.
- Support the management of classroom behaviour, promoting positive interactions and mutual respect among students.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of day-to-day activities within the Key Stage 2 department.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils in a primary school setting.
- A passion for education and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on childrens' lives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents/carers.
- A proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning, with the willingness to adapt and take on new challenges.
- Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
