Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers to support the delivery of high-quality education and contribute to the well-being and development of our students. This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons and activities.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students who need additional help.
- Help manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
- Support the assessment and tracking of student progress.
- Assist with the preparation of teaching materials and classroom displays.
- Supervise students during break times, lunch, and other school activities.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere that supports all students.
Requirements:
- Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Previous experience working in a primary school setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A patient and caring approach to working with children.
- Basic understanding of child development and learning strategies.
- Commitment to the safeguarding and welfare of all students.
- hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
