Job Title: Full-Time Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Location: South Liverpool, Primary School

As we continue to inspire young minds and foster a love for learning, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team.

Position Overview: We are looking for a motivated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support our teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting with classroom activities, providing one-to-one support, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment for our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in preparing and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide one-to-one support and small group interventions to students who require additional assistance, helping them to overcome learning barriers and achieve their academic goals.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes positive behaviour and encourages active participation.
  • Assist with the preparation and organisation of classroom materials, resources, and displays to enhance the learning experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with teachers and other staff members to meet the individual needs of students and support their holistic development.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge as a teaching assistant.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Previous experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within a primary school environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, teachers, and parents/carers.
  • Compassionate and patient approach to supporting students, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in their lives.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Dedication to upholding high standards of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality in all aspects of your work.
