GSL Education Hull are currently looking for experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistants for inclusive secondary schools based in Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire area, with both full time and part time opportunities available. GSL Education have a number of contracts with Schools and Trusts within Hull and the East Riding of Yorkshire.
�
Level 2 Teaching Assistant responsibilities:�

• Work under the direction and guidance of teachers supporting individuals, small groups, and whole class situations.
• Support on a 1:1 and small group basis with students identified as having specific needs such as ASC, ADHD, MLD and SEMH.
• Conduct General Teaching Assistant duties including administration tasks.�
• Use strategies, in liaison with the relevant staff members, to support pupils to achieve learning goals.
• Assist with the planning of learning activities.�

Minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant requirements:�

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Certificate, Diploma or Qualification no later than Summer/Fall 2023
• Have at least 6 months experience in an educational or similar setting which can be referenced.
• Be aware of and knowledgeable about different additional needs such as ASC, ADHD, MLD and SEMH.�
• Have strong behavioural management skills.
• Hold a Child Only DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for a new one.
