Level 2 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a Primary School in Little Hulton, Salford. The successful candidate will work alongside the class teacher to support the learning and development of our pupils.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting the class teacher in planning and delivering lessons.
• Working with individuals or small groups of pupils to help them achieve their learning goals.
• Providing pastoral support to pupils who may need extra help.
• Contributing to the creation of a safe and nurturing learning environment.
• Helping to assess pupils' progress and keeping accurate records.
• Supporting pupils with special educational needs.

Essential Requirements:

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and a right to work in the UK

Desirable Requirements:

• Knowledge of phonics and early years learning.
• Experience working with pupils with SEND.
• Experience using ICT to support learning.
