Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking to play a key role in supporting the education and development of primary school students? We have an exciting opportunity for a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team at a well-established primary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position with an immediate start date.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Classroom Support: Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons, providing support to individual students or small groups as needed.

2. Student Engagement: Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student participation and engagement.

3. Resource Preparation: Assist in the preparation of teaching materials, ensuring that resources are organised and accessible for effective lesson delivery.

4. Behaviour Management: Support the maintenance of a positive and respectful classroom atmosphere, implementing behaviour management strategies as directed by the class teacher.

5. Individualised Support: Work closely with students who may require additional assistance, adapting teaching methods to meet their specific needs.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Minimum of Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
2. Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.
3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their educational journey.
5. Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
6. A positive and flexible attitude towards learning and development.
7. Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
