Job Title: Level 2 Nursery Assistant

Employment Type: Part-Time/Full-Time

Are you a compassionate and enthusiastic individual with a passion for working with young children? We are currently seeking Level 2 Nursery Assistants to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in nurturing the development and well-being of children within our nursery setting.

Role Overview:

As a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, you will work alongside experienced childcare professionals to provide high-quality care and support for children aged 0-5 years old. Your role will involve assisting with daily activities, engaging children in stimulating play experiences, and creating a nurturing environment where every child feels valued and supported.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the day-to-day care and supervision of children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Engage children in age-appropriate activities and play experiences that promote their physical, cognitive, and emotional development.
  • Support the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, providing opportunities for learning through play.
  • Celebrate children's achievements, both big and small, and provide positive reinforcement to foster their self-esteem and confidence.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues, building strong partnerships to support children's individual needs and development.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 qualification in childcare or equivalent (e.g., CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Childcare and Education).
  • Previous experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting.
  • Kindness, patience, and a genuine enthusiasm for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive working environment.
  • Flexibility to work between the hours of 8:00 am and 6:00 pm, with both part-time and full-time positions available.
