Are you looking for your next role as a teaching assistant? Vision for Education is seeking to appoint a Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work in a local primary school in South Bristol on a full-time basis starting as soon as possible.



About the role

The ideal Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience of working with primary school aged children

• Support pupils who face barriers to learning

• Be able to engage pupils with learning activities

• Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils

• Be able to manage behaviour effectively

The local primary school in South Bristol has high standards of their pupils and is seeking a TA who is eager to support the learning and progress of pupils. The primary school is thoroughly involved with the community and takes pride in their supportive environment for both staff and students. The school has good transport links including bike paths and bus routes and welcomes a diverse range of pupils and is seeking a Teaching Assistant who is enthusiastic, dedicated and effective.


Requirements

To be considered for the role of Level 1 TA you will:



  • Be passionate about supporting children’s learning
  • Be a positive, upbeat and caring person
  • Be able to cater to the needs of children with SEND
  • Ideally hold a driving licence and have access to your own vehicle


Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:



  • to hold an Enhanced DBS check on the update service (child workforce or child and adult workforce)
