Our client an award winning, multi office independent Estate Agent with offices in Hertfordshire and Essex are looking for a Lettings Negotiator to work in their busy head-office in Bishops Stortford. Their specialist media division uses industry-leading photographic and video equipment and this, combined with online media expertise, allows them to offer an unrivalled marketing package to ensure that clients' properties are noticed by the right audience. They pride themselves on the services they offer in Sales, Lettings, New Homes, Mortgages and Property Management.The ideal candidate should have an understanding of the full lettings process and at least 3 months+ experience as a Lettings Negotiator. You must be very well spoken and presented, hard working and used to working to targets and deadlines. Local knowledge would be preferable but not essential.You must hold a full UK driving licence and own your own car.Salary package and benefits of the Lettings Negotiator role include:Basic £16,000 - £20,000OTE salary range - £23,000.000 to £26,000.00Monday to Friday - 8:45am to 6:00pmAvailable to work Saturdays 1 in every 4Training and developmentCareer progressionThe day to day role of the Lettings Negotiator includes:Communicate with prospective tenants and arranging property viewingsConduct property viewingsNegotiating offers and agreeing new tenanciesBuild and maintain strong relationships with Landlords and TenantsMarketing properties using various marketing skills and strategiesGenerating new business and retaining existing clientsCanvassing the local areaEnsuring new tenancies are fully compliant in line with legislationSkills and experience needed for the Lettings Negotiator role include:Ideally 3 months+ experience in LettingsStrong communication and customer service skillsExcellent interpersonal and negotiation skillsExceptional attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlinesKnowledge of relevant local housing laws and regulationsExperience with property marketing and advertisingProficiency in relevant software and technologyIf you have the qualities and experience our client is looking for, we are waiting to hear from you!JBRP1_UKTJ
