Edward Reed are searching for an experienced Revenue Manager to support the Commercial Director in a newly appointed role. Our client, a leading hospitality and leisure provider based in the North East is looking to expand its commercial team with an analytical yet personable hire. Job Responsibilities
Analysingbooking patterns and market trends
Implementing rooms revenue strategy
To co-ordinate activities with Sales, Brand Marketing & Digital Marketing,M&E Sales andM&E Planning & Hotel Operations to define, implement and measure all commercial strategies
Developing pricing strategies, including building rates for rooms and packages
Provide weekly forecast of expected results, variances and budget comparisons and provides input for development of the overall market sales strategy for all departments
Responsible for best practice standards to include: competitor analysis; distribution yield management; business mix yield management; length of stay yield management; inventory availability by channel; pricing control and new pricing concepts
Management, training and mentoring of reservations and events teams members which include two direct reports
Daily pick-up analysis, strategy adjustments and reporting SkillsMinimum of three years of revenue managementAbility to develop and implement successful sales strategiesAbility to analyse financial reports: P&L, forecasts, budgets, capital expenditureEffective influencing, consensus building and negotiation skillsIf you are interested in this role and would like to be considered, please contact myself or one of the team for more details.
