Gym Shift Leader – Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley
We have a fantastic new vacancy for Gym Shift Leader in the excellent Clayton Hotel Liffey Valley
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Gym Manager, the Gym Shift Leader will provide a friendly and efficient service to the hotel guests.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To ensure the Clayton Hotel Service standards are adhered to all times
To ensure presentation of the leisure club is of the highest standard at all times.
To ensure level of hygiene is of the highest standard throughout Clubvitae and compliance by all staff members to the same.
To ensure a good working environment exists within Clubvitae.
To communicate the required operating standards to all staff members and ensure they understand and implement such standards at all times.
To ensure the highest standard of customer service is provided to all customers
To conduct any other duties as directed by Leisure Club Manager
To have full knowledge of pool plant
To contact members on a regular basis and prior to renewal.
To carry out opening and closing procedures as required and train the team on these procedures
To ensure the efficient handling and security of all cash and credit transactions.
To teach classes in a professional, safe and fun manner and encourage members to participate in classes.
To monitor members and guests whilst using the facilities
To ensure the efficient handling and security of all keys and floats.
To ensure that Club area is clean and tidy at all times.
To maintain a high level of expertise in the fitness and Leisure industry and continually train to new standards and procedures.
To ensure that equipment is not abused and is used for its specific purpose only.
As a member of staff of the Clayton Hotel you must be willing to carry out duties outside of your department if required to do so.
Requirements:
Previous hotel experience in a 3/4 star hotel property is desired but not essential.
Previous experience in a high volume/ fast paced environment.
Fluent English and excellent communication skills.
