Legal Assistant
A reputable Legal 500 firm is currently seeking a legal team assistant to join their growing firm. The successful individual will join the firm's Commercial Litigation department, providing administrative support to multiple fee-earners.
This firm are seeking individuals who are confident in managing busy diaries, digital dictation, and managing a variety of work.
Prior experience in a legal support role is essential (e.g. legal secretary or legal assistant, preferably within litigation) with training being provided on anything unfamiliar.
Day to day duties will include:
- Dealing with new business enquiries, following up enquiries and providing accurate record keeping
- Carrying out all necessary conflict, money laundering and ID checks
- Undertake a range of admin duties including data entry, completion of forms, managing diaries and travel, expenses, research, drafting of documentation, booking of events, meeting preparation and more
- Liaising with other areas of the business such as accounts/marketing teams
- Provide Audio typing (Bighand) and copy typing as required
- Liaise with clients and third parties as instructed by Lawyers
- Attend to clients, delivering documentation as/when required
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Packages.
