The role:

* Be involved in all aspects of the management and execution of day to day activities for our lawyers in the Litigation, Advisory and Regulatory department.

* Play a key role in the care of our clients

* Anticipate and manage all areas of diary management

* Take internal and external telephone queries and respond appropriately

* Monitor incoming post and emails and handle appropriately

* Arrange meetings, book conference rooms, organise refreshments and liaise with internal and external attendees

* Assist with the billing and credit control process

* Request cheques and bank transfers

* Organise travel arrangements including booking transport, hotels etc.

* Arrange and carry out administrative support such as photocopying, printing, sending letters, organising couriers and data entry

* Arrange general filing requirements and record keeping

* Support marketing activities such as pitch and presentation preparation

* Liaise with Business Development and Marketing colleagues on arrangements for events and producing marketing material

The ideal candidate

* Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, ideally within a legal or professional services environment

* A working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel

* Able to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload effectively

* Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible

* Ability to support others as part of a team

* Confident verbal and written communication skills
