This is a fantastic opportunity for someone a Legal Secretary looking to further their career in the legal field.
Key Responsibilities for the Legal Secretary:
Providing comprehensive secretarial support to the conveyancing or commercial team, including typing correspondence, drafting legal documents, and managing diaries.
Liaising with clients, solicitors, and other relevant parties to facilitate the conveyancing process smoothly and efficiently.
Assisting with file management, including opening, closing, and archiving files in accordance with the firm's procedures.
Maintaining accurate records and databases, ensuring all information is up-to-date and easily accessible.
Handling telephone calls and enquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
Experience Required:for the Legal Secretary:
Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, with a focus on conveyancing.
Excellent typing and administrative skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact confidently with clients and colleagues.
Knowledge of conveyancing processes and procedures is highly desirable.
