Arabic Speaking Senior Legal Counsel opportunity with major global professional services firm - London Office
We are looking for a talented Senior Legal Counsel to join our client's London Office which is responsible for legal matters across the EMEA region. With business development booming in the Middle East, the London team are looking for an astute legal counsel to assist on a broad range of commercial legal matters in the region; alongside the firm's established offices in Dubai and Riyadh providing travel opportunities (but not requirements).
The legal team is expanding but still at a size where you get recognised for your contribution ( 9+ lawyers) and our client has an immaculate market reputation both in terms of work culture and high standard of work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Advise client-facing teams on the drafting and negotiation of engagement letters, confidentiality and ancillary engagement related agreements
Advise in relation to key risk management and compliance issues facing the business
Assist the HR department with employment matters
Manage litigation
Assist with drafting and negotiation of other commercial contracts, including supplier agreements
SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND APPLICATION
You will have at least 6+ PQE and experience of working in house.
An understanding of the complex legal challenges inherent to professional services firms is desirable but not essential.
Fluency in spoken and written business English and Arabic is essential.
Ideal candidate would be one that enjoys working with a thoroughly pleasant and engaging legal team.
