Legal Counsel - Global Hedge Fund

Job DescriptionOur clientWe are partnered with a Global, market leading, algorithmic investment firm who are looking for a high calibre legal counsel to join the collegiate, dynamic and growing Legal team. The business ensure that technology and a data driven approach are at the heart of what they do. The positionThe position itself will have a broad remit; work involved will support the businesses global offices on a broad mix of funds, commercial, regulatory and corporate work. This is genuinely an exciting opportunity for either a strong funds lawyer looking to take on more commercial focused work or a Commercial lawyer looking for the opportunity to get involved in funds with a top tier Algo/Quant Investment Firm. You will also work very closely with the particularly knowledgeable and experienced General Counsel, offering brilliant exposure.Experience requirements2-6 years experience in either Investment Funds or Commercial Tech/Contracts (secondment/In-House experience also advantageous).Strong academic backgroundConsummate team player with excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism to interact well with internal and external stakeholders.Strong commercial awareness, conviction, and willingness to provide considered, practical and calibrated advice.Due to the high volume of applications, if you haven’t heard back from the team on this role, unfortunately your application has been unsuccessful.
