A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Legal Assistant within personal injury law to join the team. This is a permanent full-time role, based in Sunbury with flexible working arrangements on offer for the right candidate.About the role Reporting to the Principal Solicitor, you will provide first class client support across the practice on matters which include Workcover, TAC and public liability. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Being the first point of contact for clients, third parties and barristers;Liaising with senior lawyers, counsel and external experts;Coordinating medico-legal appointments, compulsory conferences and mediations;Preparing correspondence, court documents and other legal documents;Preparing internal notes or notes for clients on legal developments;Responding to client queries and managing client relationships; andPreparing matters for conference and hearing, which includes court and legal documents and general correspondence. About youA minimum of 3 years’ experience within a similar role;Strong attention to detail and accuracy;Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;Ability to work effectively within a team and independently;Strong organisational and time management skills; The ability to build rapport quickly and understand the key issues;A passion for clients and the legal profession.The offerAt Margalit, we value our employees and offer a supportive and flexible work environment which includes work from home options.
