We have a great opportunity for an Legal Administrator to join the Wills and Probate team of an established law firm based in Heaton Moor. They pride themselves on their ‘can do’ approach to clients’ needs and their ability to offer support and advice.



We also have a similar administrative vacancy in the Conveyancing Department of the same firm in Heaton Chapel.



The role



This role includes a variety of general office-related task including:



· Assisting fee earners within the department



· Answering incoming calls, transferring calls and taking messages



· Distributing the post



· Scanning, photocopying and binding documents



· Any other general office duties as requested



· Covering reception



· Making refreshments





A pleasant telephone manner and smart appearance are essential. Knowledge of Word and Excel are desirable. This is an ideal position for anyone looking to work in a fast-moving environment and wishing to develop and learn new skills.



The pace of the office can change considerably from day to day, as can the tasks that you will need to carry out, therefore this role will suit someone who enjoys variety.



You will need to be comfortable using a computer, happy to speak on the telephone and be able to pick up new skills quickly. Previous experience in a similar (legal) role would be an advantage. Being a good team member is essential, as are good organisational skills, self motivation and punctuality.
