Your role will entail designing and delivering lessons, conducting practical demonstrations, and assessing students' progress through assignments / exams. You will also play a key role in curriculum development, staying updated with industry trends and standards to ensure students receive relevant and up to date training. Additionally, you may be tasked with providing guidance on career pathways, industry certifications and work placements to assist students in transitioning successfully into the workplace.Key Responsibilities:Developing course materials, lesson plans and assessments to support student learning & achievement based on art related subjectsConducting demonstrations and hands-on training to enhance students practical skills and understandingProviding constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their skills and achieve learning outcomesCollaborating with colleagues on curriculum design, program development and quality assurance initiativesRepresent COPC with the upmost professionalism with every interactionHandling of sensitive information with confidentiality and adherence to data protection regulationsFoster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes diversity, equality and respect among all members of the college community.To be successful in this role, below is what we would need from you:Qualified Teacher or Prepared to work towards a teacher qualificationLevel 3 qualification in ArtExcellent communication skills both verbal and writtenStrong interpersonal skills, maintaining an approachable demeanour to aid a positive first impression and rapport buildingCustomer focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional serviceProblem solving abilities in order to resolve issues independently or collaboratively with colleaguesPrevious experience in a similar role or a lengthy background within artDiversity and InclusionEquality, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are central to the work of the College.
