Leasehold Operations Manager

Our Client is seeking an Operations Manager for the oversight of developments across UK to ensure strong management, income streams are protected and ensure management of risk. The assets are managed by agents who are responsible for the deliver of all aspects of operational, financial and compliance management. This role will be managing these agents to ensure that they preform to the level required.
This role would be well suited for an organised, technically strong, leader who would like to shape the delivery of service with the panel of agents.
The Role
Manage and oversee a large portfolio of residential developments of managing agents
Establish and maintain productive and strong relationships with appointed managing agents.
Oversee the financial management of lessee funds with the managing agents, including budget approvals, accounts, expenditure v budget and reserve collections.
Have a strong technical understanding of legislation and forthcoming law relevant to residential property management and building safety, ensuring processes and operations are fit for purpose and compliant.
Ability to demonstrate a strong understanding and experience with the Building Safety Act.
Understand and assist in progressing to conclusion any building defects with the managing agents and appointed professional consultants, including progressing any funding application processes for available government funds.
Attend sites as required and record detailed inspection data to ensure sites are in optimum condition. Following up on your findings.
Review and approve key documents on each direct instruction and review key communications prior to the agent sending out.
Manage poor performing agents to drive improvement or change, to ensure high standards are met.
Assisting in tendering management of blocks, estates or portfolios
Provide exceptional service to client landlords in line with key performance indicators.
The Person
MTPI and Assoc RICS or equivalent qualified
Substantial relevant leasehold and property management experience. The Client's preference is that they have managed their own portfolio
Experience managing a team.
Excellent communication skills.
Sound understanding of latest and forthcoming Building Safety Legislation and Regulations as well as available funds such as the Building Safety Fund and the Developers Pledge.
Full driving license.
Knowledge of systems such as Qube, Fixflow and Dwellant
The Package
£60,000 - £70,000 pa.
