Lease Accounting Supervisor (IFRS 16/ ASC 842) - Slough (Hybrid)- Up to GBP60k plus benefits- PermanentIN2 Consult is partnering with an exciting global retail organisation with a revenue exceeding $400 Million P/A on the recruitment of a Lease Accounting Supervisorto join the growing accounting function on a permanent basis. The position offers a fantastic opportunity for a candidate to make a real impact within a widely recognisableorganisation.The core duties of this Lease Accounting Supervisor role include: Own the IFRS 16 and ASC 842 lease accounting Post lease accounting journals Review changes to the royalty contract data warehouse system to ensure the Company is following the terms of the contract.Review changes to the system to ensure the Company is following the terms of the contract.Work with the Accounting and Royalty teams to respond to audit inquiries from licensors.Review reports from Lucernex used to prepare journal entries from the accounting team to record rent within the general ledger system. Review these same reports used to pay base rent, other rent, percent rent, to ensure timely payment.Review journal entries from the accounting team to record royalties within the general ledger system.Review royalty contracts used to pay royalties to ensure timely payment.Work with the Accounting and Royalty teams to respond to ad hoc inquiries from landlords and licensors. The desired candidate for this role should have the following experience: Strong exposure to IFRS 16 / ASC 842 Lease accounting is a must have requirement (2+ Years)Hands on experience in lease accounting (posting journals, reviewing contracts etc.)ACCA/CIMA/ACA Part-Qualified, Finalist or QualifiedStrong Communication skills Lease Accounting Supervisor (IFRS 16/ ASC 842) - Slough (Hybrid)- Up to GBP60k plus benefits- Permanent
