Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacherEnglish, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Māori, The artsWe are seeking a learning support co-ordinator to work collaboratively as part of our well-established learning support team.The successful applicant will be an experienced teacher, whose strong relational practice enables them to work effectively with teachers and students to lift student learning outcomes, and who will also be an effective member of the LSC team within our Kāhui Ako.The role will be tailored to suit the candidate’s particular strengths and to meet identified student need.The College caters for the majority of students in Mid Canterbury. We are forward thinking and in the process of redesigning learning experiences for our students. Over the coming years there is forecast roll growth as well as major rebuild work. This is an exciting time to join the school and be a part of curriculum change at Ashburton College.We are a PB4L and Restorative Practices school and currently working to enhance culturally responsive and relational practices.
