Learning Support Assistant-Rochester

This is a full time Learning support assistant role with an ASAP start. This school is seeking someone to work as a Learning Support Assistant for students in a school in Rochester.

About the role:

  • Work 1:1 or within a group basis with students to support their learning and development.
  • Adapt learning materials and prepare resources to support the student's individual needs.
  • Have high expectations, understand the importance of, and promote the principles of inclusion by enabling every child to overcome barriers to learning.
  • Attend school trips/sports days/school plays etc.
  • Show willingness to further your personal development as a Teaching Assistant.

What the school is looking for:

  • Enhanced DBS that is on the update service or be happy to process a new one (�46).
  • Ideally someone with knowledge/Experience of working with students in a school environment.
  • A good understanding of the National Curriculum and the ability to adapt learning materials to meet individual needs.
  • Candidate who is supportive, patient and flexible.
