Job Title: Learning Support AssistantLocation: SunderlandContract Type: Long termLeader Education are recruiting a conscientious Learning Support Assistant who would thrive within an all-through school based in Sunderland.This large mixed gender school has recently celebrated its best Ofsted grade, with inspectors praising its 'aspirational' students and teachers who have a 'clear vison and ambition' for their pupils.The ideal Learning Support Assistant will successfully help pupils to excel in a positive learning environment offering support and assistance.The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30 until 16:30 and is a long-term position. Leader Education are dedicated to ensuring that we find adaptable roles and schedules that work effectively for you.The successful candidate will:Have a fully enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.Have experience of working in a transferable role.Assist pupils in lessons and activities.Be flexible and resilient, meeting the diverse needs of students.Work effectively with parents, carers, and other members of multidisciplinary teams to provide the best support.Be confident in working alongside students, ensuring they are fully supported within their learning and general classroom activities.Possess communication skills that can be personalised to suit students of different abilities.Leader Education can offer: Competitive pay rates.Refer a friend or colleague bonus scheme: £100 per referral (terms apply).A dedicated consultant to answer any queries and for ongoing support.
