Position Overview: As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering students with additional needs to conquer challenges and achieve their dreams. Collaborating closely with our team, you'll provide personalized support and guidance, fostering an atmosphere of inclusivity and encouragement. This opportunity offers full-time hours, starting September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Tailor support to meet the specific needs of students, offering both 1:1 assistance and group support.
  • Implement innovative intervention strategies to propel student progress and enhance learning outcomes.
  • Forge strong partnerships with educators and support staff to create a nurturing and inclusive educational environment.
  • Cultivate a culture of confidence and self-belief among students, inspiring them to reach their full potential.
  • Embrace adaptability and creativity, responding dynamically to evolving needs and circumstances.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • Previous experience in an educational setting, with a focus on supporting students with diverse needs.
  • Genuine enthusiasm and dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of young learners.
  • A profound commitment to championing the potential of students with diverse learning requirements.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling effective communication and collaboration with students and colleagues.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Possession of a valid DBS certificate registered with the online update service, or a willingness to obtain one.
  • Full-time availability and a commitment to at least 1-12 months of employment.
  • Ability to commute to Medway, Kent, on a daily basis.
