About the Role:

As a KS3 & KS4 Learning Support Assistant (LSA), you will play a pivotal role in providing tailored support to students within our vibrant schools in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. Your responsibilities will include:

• Utilising your SEND experience to assist students with special educational needs and disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support to thrive academically and socially.
• Employing effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment and foster a culture of respect and inclusivity.
• Demonstrating a good sense of humour and a supportive attitude towards both students and colleagues, creating a welcoming and nurturing atmosphere within the classroom.
• Showing excellent use of initiative to adapt your support methods to suit individual students' needs and learning styles, promoting their engagement and progress.
• Collaborating closely with the SENCo and dedicated consultant to implement personalised learning plans and provide ongoing feedback and insights.
