Do you have experience of working with students and leading literacy interventions?
If so, we have 2 exciting opportunities for experienced and highly organised Learning Resource Managers at:
John Willmott School, Reddicap Heath Road, Sutton Coldfield B75 7DY
Stockland Green School, Slade Road Erdington Birmingham B23 7JH
The role will involve the management and the strategic planning of our library services, to provide an environment that promotes a love of reading and key information to support and develop students understanding of future pathways/careers and prepare them for the world around them.It will also include supporting literacy intervention with targeted students in liaison with the whole school literacy lead.
To be successful in this role, you will have an understanding of resource based learning and library management systems. You will ideally have a librarian qualification or equivalent experience.
Salary:£25,119 - £31,364 per annum FTE (actual salary £21,993 - £27,460 per annum)
Hours: 37 hours per week, term time only plus one week
Location: John Willmott School (B75 7DY) or Stockland Green School (B23 7JH)
Start Date: Required as soon as possible
