Learning Resource Development ManagerPermanentFull time:35 hours per weekSalary: £47,000- £52,000 DOE + £5,000 Car Allowance + benefits package Home based in England, Scotland and Wales with occasional travelAbout the role The Learning Resource Development Manager will work with the wider product development team and other stakeholders to develop and implement a winning strategy for the EAL learning resource offer, which will support tutors and learners using EAL products at all stages of their careers.You will lead a team to design & develop learning resources for our product range of apprenticeships and qualifications in a variety of formats to a consistently high standard, underpinned by sound educational principles and practices. Your task will be to diversify our resource offer and increase our use of technology-enhanced, digital remote learning methods. What you will be doing You will help grow and diversify EAL’s teaching and learning resource offer, which is vital for supporting EAL tutors and learners across their career journey. Your responsibilities include overseeing the development and maintenance of a diverse range of learning resources in various formats, ensuring they meet high educational standards and incorporate innovative digital and remote learning methods. You will collaborate closely with the Product team, translating the EAL Business Plan into resource strategy, contributing to product development, and maintaining the relevance of learning resources in alignment with portfolio decisions. Your role will involve managing projects, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and ensuring quality assurance of all materials. Additionally, you'll play a key role in team development, fostering a culture of inclusivity and promoting continuous learning and improvement. Through your leadership and expertise, you'll contribute to the success of our educational offer and support the growth and development of our learners and tutors.This role is also expected to contribute to the overall development activities. You will work with stakeholders to agree on the most appropriate content and format of resources and engage with and manage consultants to procure development work.What we are looking forWe're seeking an individual who can elevate and grow the EAL Resource offer, ensuring it is not just effective but also innovative and aligned with educational best practices. Interactions with work and colleagues will be from a virtual environment. Depending on your role you will be required to either have some occasional travel or UK national travel. This travel will be required to allow you to fulfil different parts of your role and to meet colleagues on a quarterly basis. Other meetings that might require you to travel are events such as all colleague away days, training, and project work. Please review the advert to gain this insight to how much travel is expected.
