The school - Learning Mentor - Ealing

The Alternative Provision (AP) caters to students in the London Borough of Hillingdon who are unable to attend mainstream schools for a variety of reasons, primarily permanent exclusion. Students join and leave the program at different points throughout the school year due to the nature of the program and the range of students' needs.

A vital component of this provision is the creation of a safe, compassionate, and inclusive learning community that recognizes the uniqueness of its learners and celebrates their achievements. Dedicated to helping our young people develop the knowledge and skills that will enable them to form healthy relationships, become gainfully employed, and lead fulfilling lives, they aim to help our young people develop to the best of their abilities.

This provision believes that with the right support, students can make successful transitions at each stage of their education career, whether it be from mainstream to alternative schooling, from KS3 to KS4, or to further education, training, or employment post-16. The skills they develop should then be transferable to adults so that they can be successful as adults.
