Learning & Development Associate



Permanent Role | Watford | �26,200 per annum + Excellent Benefits



Role Overview: As a Learning & Development Associate, you'll be at the forefront of our commitment to employee growth and development. This permanent role based in Watford offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our dynamic team and make a meaningful impact on learning initiatives.



Key Responsibilities:





  • First Point of Contact: Address L&D queries from line managers and employees via the HR Case Management System, aligning with company values and best L&D practices.




  • Training Coordination: Take ownership of arranging and booking training courses, venues, publications, and hospitality, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with L&D procedures.




  • Employee Support: Serve as an ambassador for Employee Self Service and the Academy, guiding employees on accessing resources for developmental purposes.




  • Documentation and Logistics: Process training course attendance logs, record and distribute certificates, and liaise with procurement and finance for purchase orders and invoices.




  • Supplier Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with internal and external suppliers, including licensed bodies such as CITB, UKCG, and Construction Skills.




  • Data Integrity: Ensure 100% data integrity of L&D systems through timely completion of activities supported by monthly reporting.




  • Collaboration: Work closely with EHS Teams, Leadership Development Team, L&D Managers, HR Business Partners, actively contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.




  • Project Participation: Engage in project work as needed, bringing your expertise to enhance our service offering.




  • Prioritization: Plan, organize, and prioritize daily workload to maintain service levels, including daily management of the Case Management System.




  • Compliance: Ensure all activities align with UK legislation, GDPR, and the company's Code of Conduct.
