Job Description
Marlin Selection are presently working on a very exciting role with an energy trading firm that specialises in power and renewable energy who are currently looking to hire a Lead Trade Control Analyst to join their busy team in London.
Your main responsibility within the role will be to lead the Trade Control team in its daily activities and provides leadership and experience in delivering strategic projects.
Your responsibilities would include:
· Lead in the development of industry standard KPIs, to Identify, assess and monitor key risks in trade accuracy.
· Liaising and interacting with Front Office, Operations and IT teams to investigate and resolve exceptions.
· Review and act as signatory to UK Energy confirmation and Renewable Certificate Confirmations/Agreements.
· Lead the Trade Control team in its daily activities by supervising the daily tasks and validation processes.
· Lead and support the Head of Trade Control in delivering the Trade Control Improvements programme.
· Support the Trade Control team in its daily activities
You will need to have the following experience:
· Experience in a middle office/control role in a commodities/ energy trading environment.
· Knowledge of trade lifecycle processes including: booking, amendment, contracts, and settlements.
· Knowledge and interest of GB Power trading (products, market, etc.).
· Knowledge of MiFID, EMIR, REMIT, MAR
