💲 Salary/Rate: £650 - £ 850 per day (inside IR35)
📍 Location: Hybrid Manchester
⏱️ Contract Duration: 7 months

We are currently looking for a Lead Technical Architect for our government client. This Lead Technical Architect role is hybrid, based between 1 day per week on site in central Manchester, and the remainder of the week working remotely. Candidates must be able to attend the Manchester office a minimum of 1 day per week.

The contract for the Lead Technical Architect position is initially for 7 months with potential to extend, offering a daily rate within the range of £ 650 to £ 850, operating inside IR35.

Security Clearance: Security Check (SC Clearance)

This role is inside IR35 - Due to the service of the role, it will now be based on an Umbrella solution.

Role Profile/Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architect experience
• Experience of MDM (Mobile device Management)
• IOS and Android
• Previous experience in a Lead Technical Architect role in a large and complex IT environment
• Experience in infrastructure architecture with good knowledge of windows server, networking, firewalls, VPN and load balancers
• Experience in application architecture including API driven architecture, NodeJS and CI/CD deployment strategy
• Experience with security architecture including Zero trust architecture, data ingress and egress controls, utilising risk management, cyber resiliency and threat intelligence
• To design and represent architecture solutions
• To maintain Product roadmaps and help maintain the Digital Blueprint
• To provide technical leadership for the team
• To ensure value and quality is achieved for the end-to-end technology solution and user experience of the digital Product/Service
• Architecture design and modelling techniques, patterns, tools and standards.
• Mobile Architecture including Mobile Device Management with Workspace ONE, iOS & Android Device Architecture, fully understand device capabilities, controls and extendibility
• Public cloud technologies, cloud hosting, container, and networking design patterns, tools and best practice
• 4Microservice and API-led architecture and integration design tools, techniques and best practice.
• Agile / DevOps delivery methodologies and best practice.
• Technical authoring skills, particularly for the production of technical design and specification documents
• Working collaboratively with multiple stakeholders (engineers, policy, legal, other Digital colleagues including x-government if necessary) to create solution designs that meet user needs
• Ensure that architecture design artefacts are produced to agreed quality and timescales, and presented effectively at governance forums
