Lead Systems Engineer

Systems Engineer – Devon £30,000 - £50,000 I’m working with a pioneering Electronics manufacturer who work within the maritime sector specialising in acoustic monitoring and electronics solutions. They currently have two positions open they are on the lookout for a lead systems engineer and non-lead systems engineer. Responsibilities:
The role involves the installation, integration and testing of electronic control systems and offshore environmental monitoring instruments.
Developing system architecture and electrical systems for products. Maintaining electrical system design configuration control.
Manufacture of cable assembles, Soldering, Crimping and mechanical assembly etc... to very high standard.
Essential skills:
Degree in Engineering or qualification such as HNC/HND.
Good verbal and written communication skills Excellent computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Ability to understand Experience in:
Electrical system design Cable assembly, installation and termination. Setup and configuration of computer systems
installation of software. Configure network for local communication over TCP/IP. Interface to instrumentation RS232, RS422, RS485, Ethernet and USB. Communications systems setup WIFI, Iridium, Ethernet etc.
Programming targeting Microsoft windows platform and microcontrollers C#, C, C++
