We are looking to recruit into a Lead Systems Accountant role, to support the ongoing developments within Financial Services. It’s an exciting opportunity, which will support us in achieving the very best for our colleagues and customers.The role is permanent and full time (37 hours / week) but part time hours will be considered.Grade: 11 (£44,428 - £47,420, pay award pending)Location: Dudley Town Centre and working from home – we support a flexible working approach including flexitime and a mix of working from home and in the office.The Lead Systems Accountant will be responsible for the systems implementation and redesign in Finance, utilising their technical expertise in the application and interface of all financial systems. The specialist role is required to understand the financial operating system well, including the ability to explain the system interfaces and requirements to internal and external stakeholders.We are looking for a candidate qualified to degree level or equivalent with extensive knowledge of financial systems, including design and implementation, but also with the ability to understand financial data requirements that underpin Local Authority accounting.You will be self-motivated and able to achieve strict and challenging deadlines and targets.You will have strong interpersonal skills and have the ability to communicate complex information to colleagues.For further information or an informal chat please contact: Laura Jones-Moore on 01384 815680 or Rachel Cooper on 01384 814844.
