Lead Structural Engineer

Location: London

We are currently seeking a Structural Lead Engineer to join our team in London, focusing on the design of Offshore Wind Foundations.

Mission:

• Perform and take responsibility for structural analysis tasks using standard structural analysis software (primarily SACS, STAAD, and GT-STRUDL).
• Conduct detailed design calculations in adherence to our requirements and the latest industry Codes and Standards, including regulatory rules such as DNV GL, API, AISC, EC, and Norsok.
• Review, comment, and approve Structural drawings for steel structures based upon Engineering Design. Prepare high-quality Design Reports and maintain records as per Department Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all activities are carried out in compliance with policies on health, safety, quality, and environmental matters, following specific procedures.

Skills and Qualifications Required:

• Bachelor's (BEng), Master's (MEng), or Master of Science (MSc) in Civil/Structural Engineering. Chartered Engineer status or progressing towards it.
• Demonstrated experience in the offshore energy industry with a track record of delivering high-quality Structural Engineering solutions.
• Ability to apply engineering principles to solve complex problems and collaborate effectively within a small team.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication.

Software Proficiency:

• MS Excel and proficiency in hand calculations.
• SACS
• STAAD
